Overview
This conveyor labeler applies labels to the top surface of all kinds of items. Typical products are books, folders, boxes and cartons; the brochure samples also include gift boxes, food pouches, plastic parts, round tin lids and carded retail packs. Products are placed on the conveyor one by one and labeled as they reach the labeling station, a good fit for continuous production in printing, stationery, food, personal care, electronics and pharmaceuticals.
It handles products 10–400 mm long, 10–300 mm wide and 0.2–150 mm high, from thin sheets to deep boxes, with labels 6–250 mm long and 6–150 mm wide (liner width); larger labels can be custom-built. Accuracy is ±1 mm (excluding product and label tolerances) and speed is 40–120 pcs/min, depending on product and label size.
The machine is offered in a basic and a standard version. For coding there are two routes: add a ribbon coder or inkjet coder to print dates, batch numbers or barcodes on the label, or mount an inkjet coder on the conveyor to print directly on the product before or after labeling. Either way, a separate coding step disappears. The machine measures approx. 1500 × 1000 × 1350 mm and runs on 220 V / 50 Hz.
How it works
- 1 Place books, boxes, cartons or other items on the conveyor one by one
- 2 The conveyor moves each item into the labeling position
- 3 The label is applied to the top surface
