Quick answers
- The YIXING floor-standing 2-axis tape applicator moves the tape head on the X axis and the machine table on the Y axis, with a 650 × 650 mm taping stroke.
- The YIXING floor-standing 2-axis tape applicator tapes at ±1 mm accuracy and 500 mm/s and applies strips from 30 mm long.
- The YIXING floor-standing 2-axis tape applicator takes double-sided, 3M, clear and high-temperature tape 3–50 mm wide (liner width) on reels with a 76 mm core ID and 250 mm OD.
- The YIXING floor-standing 2-axis tape applicator measures approx. 1100 × 1600 × 1500 mm, weighs 220 kg and is built by Dongguan Yixing Automation Equipment Co., Ltd.
Overview
The 2-axis model divides the work between two axes. The X axis moves the tape head, the Y axis moves the machine table, and the part rides on the table while the head lays the tape. Parts are held by vacuum or a fixture, and the machine applies double-sided, 3M, clear and high-temperature tape.
Its working area is a square 650 × 650 mm stroke, and strips must be at least 30 mm long. The brochure sample shows parallel tape strips on a sheet part and on foam boards — neat rows of strips that a two-axis layout lays down one after another.
Within that stroke, taping accuracy is ±1 mm at 500 mm/s. The machine uses roll tape 3–50 mm wide (measured by liner width) on reels with a 76 mm core ID and 250 mm OD. It measures approx. 1100 × 1600 × 1500 mm (L × W × H), weighs 220 kg and runs on 220 V / 50 Hz.
How it works
- 1 Place the part on the machine table, held by vacuum or a fixture
- 2 The Y axis moves the table with the part
- 3 The X axis moves the tape head, working with the table to apply the tape
- 4 Further strips are applied as needed, for example in parallel rows
Key advantages
Separate head and table axes
The X axis drives the tape head and the Y axis drives the table; together they trace the tape path.
Square 650 × 650 mm stroke
Equal length and width suit square or near-square sheets and boards; strips from 30 mm long.
Parallel multi-strip taping
The brochure sample shows several parallel strips on sheet parts and foam boards.
±1 mm across the stroke
Anywhere in the 650 × 650 mm stroke, taping accuracy is ±1 mm (excluding product and tape tolerances) at 500 mm/s.

Selection tips
- If strips must alternate between horizontal and vertical, or parts reach 1000 mm in length, see the floor-standing rotary-head tape applicator (500 × 1000 mm stroke).
- For the same 650 × 650 mm stroke with liner rewinding and automatic cutting, choose the floor-standing rotary-platform tape applicator with liner peeling.
- For more complex tape paths or a stroke built around your part, consider the floor-standing 3-axis tape applicator.
- For parts within 300 × 300 mm, the desktop tape applicator takes far less space.
