Overview
A CCD camera measures the position of each part and corrects the taping path, reaching ±0.5 mm on parts from 50 × 50 mm to 350 × 350 mm. Automatic loading and unloading keep the machine running at about 1,200 pieces per hour.
The machine can run standalone or be integrated into a complete production line, including connection to a factory MES.
How it works
- 1 Parts are loaded automatically.
- 2 The CCD camera locates each part and corrects its offset.
- 3 The tape head applies and cuts the tape along the corrected path.
- 4 Finished parts are unloaded automatically.
