Quick answers
- The YIXING floor-standing rotary-platform tape applicator rewinds the release liner while taping, cuts the tape automatically and has a 650 × 650 mm taping stroke.
- The YIXING rotary-platform liner-peeling tape applicator tapes at ±1 mm accuracy (excluding product and tape tolerances) and 500 mm/s.
- The YIXING rotary-platform liner-peeling tape applicator handles double-sided, 3M, clear and high-temperature tape 3–50 mm wide on reels with a 76 mm core ID and 250 mm OD.
- The YIXING rotary-platform liner-peeling tape applicator measures approx. 1100 × 1600 × 1500 mm, weighs 220 kg and is made by Dongguan Yixing Automation Equipment Co., Ltd.
Overview
Tape on a release liner leaves two jobs: peeling the liner off and getting rid of it. The floor-standing rotary-platform tape applicator folds both into the taping cycle. It rewinds the liner as the tape goes on — waste paper on the tape can be collected the same way — then cuts the tape automatically so the part is ready to unload, with no manual liner peeling.
The part is located in a fixture or held by vacuum on the table, and any of the four brochure tape types can be used — double-sided, 3M, clear or high-temperature. “Rotary platform” means the platform carrying the part rotates, whereas the floor-standing rotary-head model rotates the tape head. The taping stroke is 650 × 650 mm; brochure samples show a strip part taped on the vacuum table and a taped cardboard part.
Its footprint, approx. 1100 × 1600 × 1500 mm, matches the floor-standing 2-axis tape applicator; it weighs 220 kg and runs on 220 V / 50 Hz. Taping accuracy is ±1 mm at 500 mm/s, and the tape can be 3–50 mm wide (liner width) on reels with a 76 mm core ID and 250 mm OD.
How it works
- 1 Place the part on the machine table, held by vacuum or a fixture
- 2 Apply the tape while the release liner is rewound
- 3 The tape is cut automatically
- 4 Unload the taped part
Key advantages
Liner rewound while taping
The release liner is collected as the tape goes on, removing the manual peeling step.
Automatic cutting
The machine cuts the tape itself, so taping, liner rewinding and cutting run as one sequence before unloading.
Rotating platform
The platform carrying the part rotates, a different approach from the rotary-head model; compare both against your part.
Strip and cardboard samples
Brochure samples show a strip part taped on the vacuum table and a taped cardboard part, within a 650 × 650 mm stroke.
±1 mm taping accuracy
The liner-peeling model is rated at ±1 mm (excluding product and tape tolerances) and 500 mm/s, which varies with part and tape size.
Waste paper collected too
Besides the release liner, waste paper on the tape can also be collected by the machine.

Selection tips
- If the liner does not need to be removed and you mainly lay parallel strips on sheets or foam boards, the floor-standing 2-axis tape applicator offers the same 650 × 650 mm stroke.
- If you only need a head that peels the liner or rewinds waste, choose from the tape applicator heads (liner-peeling, non-peeling and waste-rewinding).
- For parts up to 1000 mm long with horizontal and vertical strips, see the floor-standing rotary-head tape applicator (500 × 1000 mm stroke).
