Quick answers
- The YIXING floor-standing rotary-head tape applicator has a 500 × 1000 mm taping stroke and applies strips from 30 mm in length.
- The YIXING floor-standing rotary-head tape applicator rotates its tape head to apply multiple horizontal and vertical strips at ±1 mm accuracy and 500 mm/s.
- The YIXING floor-standing rotary-head tape applicator takes double-sided, 3M, clear and high-temperature tape 3–50 mm wide on reels with a 76 mm core ID and 250 mm OD.
- The YIXING floor-standing rotary-head tape applicator measures approx. 1300 × 800 × 1500 mm, weighs 220 kg and runs on 220 V / 50 Hz.
- Made by Dongguan Yixing Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. (YIXING), the floor-standing rotary-head tape applicator holds parts by vacuum or fixture and can be customized for special requirements.
Overview
When one part needs tape strips running both across and along it, the floor-standing rotary-head tape applicator handles both directions. The part sits on the machine table, held by vacuum or a fixture, and the tape head rotates to switch between horizontal and vertical strips, so the part does not need to be turned by hand. It applies double-sided tape, 3M tape, clear tape and high-temperature tape from the reel.
The taping stroke is 500 × 1000 mm, and its 1000 mm long side takes large panels and frames; any strip 30 mm or longer can be applied. The brochure shows two samples: a frame-shaped workpiece on the vacuum table with strips laid both ways, and a panel with 3M double-sided tape around its edges and across the middle.
Taping accuracy is ±1 mm and speed 500 mm/s. Tape can be 3–50 mm wide (liner width) on reels with a 76 mm core ID and 250 mm OD. The machine measures approx. 1300 × 800 × 1500 mm, weighs 220 kg and runs on 220 V / 50 Hz. These are standard-model figures; other special requirements can be custom-built.
How it works
- 1 Place the part on the machine table and hold it by vacuum or with a fixture
- 2 The tape head rotates to the horizontal or vertical taping direction
- 3 Multiple horizontal and vertical strips are applied as the part requires
Key advantages
Rotating tape head
The head turns to change taping direction, so horizontal and vertical strips go on without turning the part by hand.
500 × 1000 mm stroke
The 1000 mm long side of the stroke takes large panels and frames; minimum strip length is 30 mm.
Vacuum or fixture holding
Parts are held on the table by vacuum or by a fixture, whichever suits the part.
±1 mm at 500 mm/s
Taping accuracy is ±1 mm (excluding product and tape tolerances); speed is 500 mm/s and varies with part and tape size.
Frame and panel examples
Brochure samples: a frame-shaped workpiece on the vacuum table with crossing strips, and a panel with 3M double-sided tape around the edges and across the middle.
Custom beyond the standard
The published figures describe the standard model; other special requirements can be built to order.

Selection tips
- For parts within 650 × 650 mm where separate head and table axes are enough, see the floor-standing 2-axis tape applicator (650 × 650 mm stroke).
- If the release liner must be peeled and rewound while taping, with automatic cutting, choose the floor-standing rotary-platform tape applicator with liner peeling.
- For small parts taped at a workbench, the desktop tape applicator (300 × 300 mm stroke, 78 kg) is the compact option.
- For more complex tape paths, or a stroke built around your part, look at the floor-standing 3-axis tape applicator.
